__THE ADAPTIVE ROUTINE IN DETAIL__

Each group has four levels.

- UNKNOWN: these sums will not be generated.
- BEGINNER: these sums are often generated (factor 9).
- EXPERT: these sums are less generated (factor 3).
- KNOWN: these sums are somethimes generated (factor 1).

The adaptive routine remmembers the score of each group. When your group score reaches 5, then there is an evaluation:

- SCORE 5/5: you will go to a higher level and this kind of sum will be generated less.
- SCORE 4/5: you remain at the same level.
- SCORE 3/5:.you will go to a lower level and this kind of sum will be generated more.

__MULTIPLICATION STRATEGIES__

There are several strategies for multiplication tables.

- Reverse strategie: 7 * 8 = 56 because 8 * 7 = 56.
- Double strategie: 2 * 4 = 8 then 4 * 4 = 8 + 8 = 16.
- Halve strategie: als 10 * 8 = 80 then 5 * 8 = 80 - 40 = 40.
- One more strategie: 5 * 8 = 40 then 6 * 8 = 40 + 8 = 48.
- One less strategie: 5 * 8 = 40 then 4 * 8 = 40 - 8 = 32.
- Some tricks:
- 12 = 3 x 4 (mind the order 1, 2, 3, 4)
- 56 = 7 x 8 (mind the order 5, 6, 7, 8)

- A strategie for the table of 9 (ex. 7 * 9):
- The digit that isn't 9 (in this example 7) minus 1. You get 6.
- 9 minus 6 and you get 3.
- So 7 * 9 = 63.
